Cozy Cocoa ~ LDRS November Guest Designer

Hello Everyone!

Welcome back to the 2nd installment of my guest design work at
Little Darlings Design Team Inspirations Blog.

I made 2 cards using Cocoa by Saturated Canary rubber stamp, one colored with
Distress Ink pads and the other with Prismacolor black and grey pencils.
You can find the stamp in LDRS store here or other web suppliers around the world.
I had much fun coloring this beauty, she is absolutely adorable!

I have distressed all paper edges with TH distressing tool, chalk ink, and DI
for the shabby look. I also embossed around the image with shabby white 
frantage and added some Crystal Effects for water drop effect.

Izzy's Aussie Christmas ~ LDRS Guest Design

Morning Everyone!

Can't believe the time is just zooming by, we are into mid November already!
I have been busy making Christmas cards the last 2 weeks,
especially the ones that are going overseas.

A while back, I was asked to be one of the guest designers for November
at Little Darlings Rubber Stamps. Angie and Ann Marie, thanks so much for
 this generous offer!  How can I say no, their stamps are super adorable!
Angie has some new gorgeous releases recently, they just make your heart sing.

Today I am showcasing one of my GDT cards using


As usual, I water colored the image with Distress Ink pads.
I added some sparkly fluff on the Santa's hat and Izzy's boot trims.


The card measures about 6" in diameter.
I have used various Maja Design papers from the Vintage Winter,
It's Christmas Time, and A Gift for You collections.

Dies used are from QuikKutz, Go Kreate, Magnolia, and Memory Box.

10mm red/cream square check ribbon, pink medium pom pom trim,

Fairies in Stocking

Happy Sunday Everyone!

Can you believe it's November already!
I have seen so many of you have started making Christmas cards.
Well, I need to focus and start building my Christmas stash, lol.

I made my first Christmas card for this year; it is also a DT card
for The Ribbon Girls Card Challenge.
We would love to have you playing along with us.
All you need to do is creating a card with Christmas theme.


The stamp image and sentiment I used are from LOTV:

I have colored the image with Distress Ink pads.
I added glitters and stickles here and there for extra bling.


Designer papers ~ Maja Design Vintage Winter and It's Christmas Time Collection.
Dies used are from Go Kreate, Memory Box, La La Land, Spellbinders.
I just love this Plush Poinsettia Corner die from Memory Box.
I cut 2 out and overlapped each other to give more dimension.
I also added few Poinsettia Blooms from MM.

25 mm natural faux Hessian ribbon, 10 mm red/cream square check ribbon,
natural button twine, 3 mm stickt tape.

Sweet Treats

Morning Everyone!

Today I would like to share a new card and some news with you.
I have been selected as a DT member at the Ppinkydolls New-Release team.


The challenge team and new-release team will showcase 
ppinkydolls digi projects on alternate Mondays.
 You are welcome to join in our challenges
with or without Ppinkydoll images.


 I have made a fall/ Halloween card featuring Ppinkydolls Moongirl and Owl.
The sketch is from The Sketchy Challenges #79.


 

The image was colored with grey and black Prismacolor pencils, mostly black.
The paper I used is 98lb Canson mix media paper. It can be used for
acrylic, watercolor and/or pen and pencil. 
I like how it turned out, she glows under the moon light.

Thank You from Sneaky Tilda

Happy Sunday Everyone!
Hope you are all well wherever you are.

We have been having lots of rain here in Vancouver,
typical fall weather in west coast Canada.
The upside is it's the perfect time to stay indoors and craft!

We have a new Magnolia Only challenge over at The Ribbon Girl.

For my DT card, I used Sneaky Tilda.
I made this thank-you card for my fellow Canadian crafter ~ Beth

For my DT creation, I made a card for a friend whose birthday is today.
Happy Birthday Jean!!!


The image I used is called Midsummer's Night from LOTV.
I water colored it with Distress Ink pads. I dusted glitters on the fairy;
however, it is not showing very well in the photo.

Thinking of You ~ Pisces Tilda

Happy Sunday My Friends!

Summer seemed to zoom by in a flash, we are officially into fall here.
I love autumn; not the drizzling rains and cloudy skies,
but the golden, orange, and red hues of leaves.

I'd colored a few summer themed images in July which I never got time to
made into cards. Here's a shaped card with one of the images I adore ~ Pisces Tilda.
I hope it inspires you to join in our Magnolia Only challenge at The Ribbon Girl.
The theme this week is ~ Add pearls. How easy is that!


The layout is from The Sketchy Challenges #78.
I have turned/flipped the sketch 90 degrees.



I've colored the image with DI pads, and dotted pearl pen and glitters here and there.
I teared the DPs into strips and distressed all paper edges with distress tool,
then layered them with laces to form the background.

Fabulous Friend ~ Swan Girl by ppinkydolls

Hello Everyone!

I had some spare time last week in between work and taking mom 
to various pre-op appointments. So I inked up a few images.
The images I used for this card is Swan Girl by ppinkydolls

I like making this shape card; it is one of my favorite LO.
The template can be downloaded from Inger Harding's Blog, here.
The template have 2 sizes. I used template B for my card.


The image was printed on 98lb Canson Mixed Media paper, 
and colored with Distress Ink pads and Prismacolor pencil.
I dabbed some water in the background to create the clear droplet effect.

Message from Tilda

Good Evening Everyone!

A quick post to share a Tilda card with you.
I made this card for the MDUC black and white challenge.

I know I have neglected Tilda for quite some time, lol.
There are just too many cute stamps out there and
not enough time to play with them all.

Sorry for the poor lighting, the pic was taken at night.
The colored image is actually much darker than the photo.


The image is Write a Message Tilda from the Lost and Found Collection.
It was colored with Distress Ink pads and Prismacolor pencil.
